The Fund Finance Association’s annual symposiums bring together investors, fund managers, bankers and lawyers for education and networking within the fund finance market. FFA hosts annual events in Miami, London, and Asia. The 2024 Events were attended by over 2,500 industry professionals representing over 500 firms.

Mr. Holsinger is a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Alternative Credit in the Ares Credit Group. Mr. Holsinger serves as a member of the Ares Credit Group's Alternative Credit Executive Committee and the Alternative Credit, Pathfinder and Pathfinder Core Investment Committees. Ares and Pathfinder’s (Ares Alt Credit’s flagship fund) portfolio managers have committed to donating at least 10% of the fund’s carried interest profits to global health and education charities. Pathfinder is the first institutional fund to utilize predefined structure to donate significant future carried interest to support charitable initiatives.

Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Holsinger was a Partner at Fortress Investment Group in the Credit Group, where he served on the Management Committee of Fortress and the Investment Committee for the Credit Funds and he also co-headed Illiquid Credit and focused on tactical and opportunistic direct investments across all asset classes and geographies. Previously, Mr. Holsinger was a Founding Partner of Atalaya Capital Management, where he co-headed the investment committee.

Mr. Holsinger currently serves on several corporate boards and advisory groups with a particular focus on global health and education. He serves on the board of directors of PATH Global Health, is a member of the NYU Public Health Dean’s Counsel, on the advisory board for Kubik (a low carbon impact disruptor in Africa) and GRDC Co-Chair for East Coast for the Ares Foundation. He is also active with several additional charities including Khan Academy, Childlife Foundation, Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation, Milken/PCF and UNICEF. Mr. Holsinger has also served as an adjunct faculty at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in their Center for Alternative Investments periodically over the last decade.

The movie opened in February 2016 and shattered expectations, opening to $152.2-million over the four-day Presidents’ Day weekend making it the biggest R-rated opening of all time and the biggest February opening in box office history. The superhero juggernaut also replaced “Matrix Reloaded” as the highest-grossing R-rated film in history with more than $750-million globally. The film received 2 Golden Globe nominations. A “Best Actor” nod for Reynolds and Best Picture nomination for the film, making it the first live-action superhero movie to pick up a Golden Globe nomination in the Comedy or Musical category. The film also received a Writers Guild of America nomination for “Best Adapted Screenplay” and a PGA Award nomination for “Best Picture.” The highly anticipated sequel Deadpool 2 which released in May 2018, bringing in over $748-million globally, making it the highest grossing title in the X-Men universe. Reynolds is currently working on Deadpool 3 with director Shawn Levy.

Last year, Reynolds starred in Spirited for Apple TV+, the musical reimagining of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol opposite Will Farrell and Octavia Spencer, which quickly became the most-watched Apple TV+ movie to date. Earlier in the year he starred in the hit Netflix time-travel adventure film The Adam Project produced by Maximum Effort and 21 Laps and directed by Shawn Levy. The Adam Project is Netflix's fourth most-viewed English-language movie of all time making Reynolds the only actor with 3 films on Netflix’s all-time top 10 list (Red Notice, The Adam Project, Six Underground). His other recent films include Disney’s Free Guy which he produced under his Maximum Effort banner. The action comedy opened at number one at the box office and grossed over $330 million dollars globally during the pandemic. He recently wrapped production on Imaginary Friends directed by John Krasinski for Paramount.

Beyond acting, Reynolds is a successful entrepreneur and an award-winning marketer, creating breakthrough campaigns for Deadpool as well Aviation Gin, Mint Mobile and the Match Group.
