FFA hosts annual events in Miami, London, and Asia. The 2023 Events were attended by over 2,500 industry professionals representing over 500 firms.

Debra Abramovitz is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and a member of the Morgan Stanley Private Credit team, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Opportunistic Credit and Lower Middle Market Direct Lending strategies. In her role, Ms. Abramovitz oversees all financial, administrative, investor relations and operational activities for these strategies. Ms. Abramovitz also serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. Ms. Abramovitz joined Morgan Stanley in 1988 and has over 37 years of relevant industry experience. Ms. Abramovitz joined Morgan Stanley’s Finance Department in 1983 and joined Morgan Stanley Private Equity in 1988, with responsibility for monitoring portfolio companies. Previously, Ms. Abramovitz was with Ernst & Young. Debra is a graduate of American University in Paris and the Columbia Business School.

Hamid Aguerbal is part of the Global Fund Financing team at Natixis and is heading the subscription and hybrid fund financing efforts for Europe. Sitting in the Paris head office of Natixis, Hamid is overseeing origination, execution, and book monitoring for the company and plays an active role in distributing part of the risk with syndication teams.

He joined Natixis in 2008 in London to be in charge of quantitative analysis for a fund advisory business. In 2010 he moved to Paris to help develop the structured credit business at Natixis working on various types of structured credit transactions including Auto ABS securitizations, significant risk transfer transactions and NAV fund financing. In 2016 he joined the fund financing business to help develop and grow the activity. He took over the European fund financing business at the end of 2023.

Hamid started his career at BNP on equity derivatives pricing before moving to Natixis Asset Management overseeing the structured products book.

He holds a master’s in actuarial science and insurance as well as pre-doctorate certification in quantitative finance from Lyon 1 University. He is also a CAIA holder.

Ana joined Moody’s in 2013 with an extensive experience in analyzing financial institutions and managing credit professionals. Prior to her senior management role, Ana was the Managing Director responsible for the rating coverage for global investment banks, securities firms and specialty finance ratings. Ana is also a coauthor of Moody's rating methodologies for finance companies, securities firms and clearing houses, and also led the development of Moody's counterparty risk rating. Prior to Moody’s, Ana gained extensive experience in credit risk management at several large banks including as Executive Director in Credit Risk, responsible for financial institutions including North American banks, broker dealers, exchanges and clearinghouses for UBS. Also, she was Head of Global Portfolio Management-Credit Risk Management at Morgan Stanley, focusing on comprehensive coverage, identification and analysis of risks across the firm’s trading and lending businesses as well as leading key risk management initiatives for Morgan Stanley Bank N.A. Ana began her career in Credit Risk Management at Lehman Brothers in various credit risk roles, ultimately heading up the North American Financial Institutions and Structured Finance team, and subsequently worked on Lehman’s bankruptcy resolution. Pallo Blum-Tucker joined State Street in 2013. Pallo is a Managing Director who manages the Alternatives Lending Team within Fund Finance within the Global Credit Finance division of State Street. Pallo currently runs the Global Capital Call (Subscription Finance) business, along with FOHF lending, and has previously run the Private Credit, CLO, and Corporate, Insurance & Investment Advisor lending portfolios. Prior to this role, Pallo was a portfolio manager and trader for the Leveraged Loan Team; he had oversight of both the US and European leveraged loan portfolios.

Prior to joining Huntington, Brad worked as a Managing Director in Signature Bank’s Fund Bank Division from May 2019 through May 2023. Prior to Signature, Brad worked for nine years in Wells Fargo’s Subscription Finance Group where he was head of the group’s U.S. originations team at the time of his departure. Mr. Conners joined Golub Capital in 2017 and is a Director in Golub’s Structured Products Team, which is responsible for structuring, executing, and managing all of the debt capital and hedging for the firm.

Michael leads a team that is focused on fund, corporate, and specialty finance. This team manages matters including capital call facilities, hybrid and NAV facilities, corporate and GP revolvers, and derivative-based financing products. Michael is also closely involved in marketing, structuring, and execution for the firm’s recurring revenue ABS platforms as well as Golub’s activities in the public and private unsecured debt capital markets. In addition to these responsibilities, Michael also leads the firms foreign currency and interest rate hedging program and is involved in new fund product launches.

Prior to Golub Capital, Michael was a finance attorney in the global finance practice at Dechert. Prior to that, Michael began his career as a foreign currency, fixed income, and base metals trader at Bridgewater Associates.

Michael earned his B.A. from Duke University, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with Honors. Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

Steve joined Standard Chartered in March 2018 as Global Head, Commercial Real Estate before assuming responsibility for the broader Global Industries Group in September 2018. Steve has over 30 years of banking experience and has worked in Asia, the Middle East and Australia, building strong client relationships spanning institutional and small and medium enterprise banking. He has also led international teams across a range of specialized products including Advisory, Project Finance, Asset Finance, Fund Finance and Trade while also working across a variety of different Risk functions throughout his career.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Steve spent four years with HSBC, more recently as Head of Commercial Banking, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. Prior to HSBC, Steve spent 25 years with the National Australia Bank (NAB) in various leadership roles.

Steve is a steadfast advocate of cultivating deep client relationships, harnessing the strength of the Bank’s workforce, meaningfully contributing to our communities, and developing diverse talent. He is a member of Standard Chartered’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Council. In addition, Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of BritishAmerican Business.

Fi is Managing Director, Head of Fund Finance APAC at MUFG Investor Services where she lead the expansion of the firm’s fund financing business across Asia Pacific, as well as supporting the growth of the asset servicing and fund administration business globally to assist private capital funds with their liquidity and operational needs.

Fi is a familiar face of the fund finance community globally having supported the growth of this sector for over a decade across the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia markets. She was recognized in The Drawdown’s ‘Most Influential Fund Finance Experts of 2022’ globally. Fi is also active in supporting diversity and next generation development in the industry. She was one of the first members of the Women in Fund Finance Europe committee when she was in London and is co-chair of the Women in Fund Finance APAC since 2020.

Fi pioneered the global trend of ESG-linked fund finance facilities when she led the world’s first ESG-linked subscription credit facility in 2019, marrying the sustainability-linked loan technology that was gaining momentum in other sectors at individual company or asset level, to a portfolio framework that can be applied to PE funds even at the beginning stage of their lifecycle. She sits on the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Financial Centre Advisory Panel (FCAP) – Green Finance working group for the fund management industry since 2020.

Fi moved to Singapore from London at the start of 2019 to help build out the fund and insurance finance business for ING Bank across in APAC and led a rapid expansion of the business within a short few years, by offering creative solutions to GPs, drawing on her extensive experience with market terms in the US and Europe to promote alignments and scalability for the product in the APAC region. Before ING, Fi spent nearly a decade at Barclays in London and Dubai, where she was Director in the Financial Institutions Group and helped build a successful Private Equity coverage franchise supporting financial sponsors and alternative asset managers in EMEA and the US. Her earlier banking career spans across credit analysis, operational risk and project management in the investment banking and corporate banking divisions.

Mr. Dulchinos is the Head of Debt Portfolio Management for the AEW Private Equity Group. Mr. Dulchinos joined AEW from Amherst Holdings, where he served as Head of SFR Portfolio Management. Previously, he was Head of Real Estate Debt Portfolio Management and Capital Markets at Barings, overseeing all commingled funds and separate accounts, with responsibility for a team managing $28 billion in commercial real estate investments in stabilized, transitional and construction strategies. In this role, he led new commercial real estate debt product development as well as the deployment of client capital in CRE debt investments and the global capital markets and syndication functions. He served as a member of Barings’ Global Real Estate Debt and Equity Investment Committees and its CRE Debt Valuation Committee. His experience has encompassed commercial mortgage lending, real estate structured credit and the formation and management of investment vehicles for global institutional clients.
