Women in Fund Finance APAC is pleased to hold their next Singapore Wit & Wisdom Series, where we connect senior women in the fund finance industry with junior members and encourage participants to engage in frank, intimate and open discussions.

In this episode, we get to meet founder of she1K, the world's first C-suite angel investor syndicate - Christina Teo, who will share her journey and host a work shop on how to harness the power of your voice in your career.

Wit & Wisdom is open to female members of Women in Fund Finance with at least two years of experience working in the fund finance industry and are not Managing Directors, Partners or C-suite executives.

Christina is the Chief Builder of she1K. Launched in November 2018 and backed by Enterprise Singapore, she1K is the world's 1st and only corporate executive angel network, with 80% female representation, that champions and funds startups. Today Christina is an avid angel investor and builds a strong portfolio of investments through their flagship program, C-shark Tank, which runs 3 times a year. C-shark Tank is an intensive program, culminating to investing in top 3 startups each season by more than 30 corporate executives of large multinationals in their personal capacity.

Christina brings with her a stellar corporate career spanning technology, dotcom and mobile in several breakthrough roles.

Her last corporate role was as the Chief Marketing Officer of Hong Kong’s 2nd largest mobile service provider. She assumed various roles at Acer in Taiwan and Europe for 7 years - became a country manager for Acer Italy at 29 with P & L accountability. Shortly after, she pioneered direct marketing at IBM ASEAN, then moved to HK with DEC, followed by 3Com, all with regional undertakings. Her entry to dotcom was with Yahoo! as the first GM in Singapore. With no prior experience in the mobile industry, she launched the world's first Windows smartphone with O2 and took the data device business from zero to US$300 mil in Asia Pacific within 3 years.
