Leah Edelboim is a Partner in Cadwalader’s fund finance practice where she advises banks and other financial institutions on syndicated, club, and bilateral subscription credit facilities as well as NAV, hybrid, and other fund finance transactions. She is an author and educator on fund finance, including as a regular contributor to Cadwalader’s weekly newsletter, Fund Finance Friday. Leah is also an active member of Women in Fund Finance. She received her B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Before attending law school, Leah worked as a journalist and television producer.

Chief Financial Officer for CIB Banking | Wells Fargo

April Frazer is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for CIB Banking, where she leads day to-day financial management, planning, and capital and balance sheet optimization for the group. She also works with the Bank’s leadership team to drive strategic decision-making and financial performance for Banking.

April is a seasoned banker and financial services industry veteran who has a deep first-hand understanding of CIB Banking. She brings more than two decades of experience to the role and has held numerous senior leadership positions within Wells Fargo. Most recently, she was the head of Banks for CIB where she led the coordination of all investment banking and corporate banking activities across the Banks client segment globally. Prior to that, she was the managing director and Global Head of Banks in the Financial Institutions Group, where she was responsible for strategy and growth of the company’s global bank portfolio.

Previous roles with Wells Fargo include managing director in Wells Fargo Securities’ Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group where she led the group’s Global Regulatory Capital and Advisory practice and several positions in High Grade Debt Capital Markets as part of the Client Solutions Group and Financial Institutions Investment Banking.

April was recognized as one of the 15 Most Powerful Women in Banking: NEXT in 2019.

April is on the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business Board of Advisors for Elon University, the St. Jude Carolinas Advisory council, and a committee member for the St. Jude Charlotte Celebrity Chef & Wine Dinner in Charlotte, NC.

April holds a Bachelor of Science from Elon University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was also awarded the John W. Barney Award, which is given to the graduating senior with the highest cumulative GPA.

April lives in Charlotte with her husband and two children.

Erin Goldstein is a Director and Senior Relationship Manager for the Subscription Finance sector within Wells Fargo’s Financial Institutions Group. In this role, she is responsible for originating, structuring and managing fund finance transactions secured by limited partners’ capital commitments and other collateral types.

Mrs. Goldstein is an active member of Women in Fund Finance and Wells Fargo’s Investment Banking women’s network, where she most recently served on the executive steering committee. She serves as an advisor to Families Forward Charlotte, a local non-profit focused on helping low income families achieve financial stability and economic mobility. Erin lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and two daughters.

Jeff Johnston is Senior Vice President, Head of Asset-Backed Finance, for EverBank.

Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Johnston was a Managing Director and the Head of Asset Management within Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking group with oversight of a nearly $100 billion portfolio of bank commitments.

Prior to founding the Subscription Finance business at Wells Fargo in 2010, Mr. Johnston was responsible for the portfolio and workout of over $10B of legacy structured products for the bank, including cash and synthetic ABS and CRE CDO’s, total return swaps, and RMBS positions. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Johnston served in Bank of America’s Global Structured Products group.

Mr. Johnston is a Co-founder and Chairman of the Board for the Fund Finance Association, a global industry association for constituents in the fund finance space, is considered an original thought leader of fund finance and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Mr. Johnston is a CFA charter holder and is a graduate of the University of South Florida.

Caroline Pedlow is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Caroline is a Director within Real Estate Debt Portfolio Management, primarily supporting a U.S. open-end real estate debt fund. Prior to her current role, Caroline was a member of the Real Estate Capital Markets team where she worked to source financing solutions, including asset financings, fund leverage, and syndications, across both our debt and equity strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Caroline spent five years working for a middle markets broker dealer, StoneX Group (fka INTL FC Stone). Caroline was a Vice President in the fixed income division, specializing in structured product sales. Caroline holds a B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross. She is a member of the CFA Institute.

Corey F. Rose has more than 15 years of experience advising investment funds (including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and closed-end funds) and their independent directors, investment management companies, banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions on a wide variety of matters including ongoing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, public filings, shareholder meetings, contract negotiations, fund reorganizations, product development, and seeking exemptive, interpretive and no-action relief from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or its staff.

In addition, as the leader of Dechert’s bank regulatory practice, Mr. Rose counsels clients on the application of laws and regulations administered by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the National Credit Union Administration, the U.S. Treasury, the Financial Stability Oversight Counsel, and state regulatory agencies, among others. Mr. Rose advises on issues including organizational structure, ownership and control, affiliated transactions, and non-banking activities. He regularly advises clients regarding the application of the Bank Holding Company Act and the Volcker Rule to US and foreign companies, including investment funds.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Rose was a trial attorney in the Enforcement and Compliance Division of the OCC in Washington, D.C.
