Women in Fund Finance invites you to ring in 2023 with an evening of cocktails and conversation with Jenn Toyzer, Co-Founder and CEO of UME Plum Liqueur.

Join us as Jenn tells the amazing story of how she took UME from vision to launch in roughly six months. We will also hear how after eight years in investment banking and investing at Goldman Sachs she transitioned to founder of this unique and rapidly growing brand. Jenn will lead us through a tasting of UME and introduce us to their delicious and stunning purple cocktails.

Leah Edelboim is a Partner in Cadwalader’s fund finance practice where she advises banks and other financial institutions on syndicated, club, and bilateral subscription credit facilities as well as NAV, hybrid, and other fund finance transactions. She is an author and educator on fund finance, including as a regular contributor to Cadwalader’s weekly newsletter, Fund Finance Friday. Leah is also an active member of Women in Fund Finance. She received her B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Before attending law school, Leah worked as a journalist and television producer.

Michele is a universally respected industry veteran and is currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at 5C Investment Partners, where she oversees capital markets and co-investment opportunities. Prior to her current role, she spent 11 years at Wells Fargo, where she held several senior leadership positions within their Subscription Finance and Asset Backed Finance Platforms, serving as Co-Head of Origination, managing lending facilities for private equity-style funds and leading origination, structuring and execution efforts. In addition, Michele had previously served as Head of Subscription Finance and ABF Loan Syndications, offering distribution capabilities, and supporting origination efforts across the Subscription Finance and Asset-Backed Finance platforms. Prior to her time at Wells Fargo, Michele was an Executive Director at WestLB where she was instrumental in building the firm's Fund Finance platform which was acquired by Wells Fargo. Michele holds a B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University. She is a C.P.A. and is SIE, Series 79 & 63 Registered.
