Lily Miao (苗蕾) is a Partner in the Corporate Finance department of Appleby’s Hong Kong office.
Lily has over a decade of offshore and onshore experience in the Asian and UK market, having started her career at Clifford Chance in London. Lily has worked on some of the most market leading and first of its kind fund finance transactions, spanning the range of capital call, NAV, hybrid, umbrella and GP/LP facilities. Her clients include major international and PRC financial institutions, asset managers, listed and private corporations and investment funds.
Lily was the only offshore lawyer in Asia to be recognised as a 2023 Fund Finance Association Rising Star.
With her proficiency in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese and German, she advises clients on a broad range of Cayman Islands, BVI and Bermuda law financing matters.
