This breakfast panel discussion co-hosted by National Australia Bank and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, will consist of senior women in infrastructure, who will provide learnings from their careers (including challenges they have faced and how to overcome them). Topics to be discussed include issues facing the infrastructure industry such as fundraising outlook, fund allocations, impact of inflation and valuations, the use of debt in these structures and ESG.

Coffee and light breakfast will be provided at the event.

Cathryn has global leadership responsibility for NAB’s relationship banking team for large corporate clients and financial institutions.

Cathryn joined NAB in 2016 as Executive General Manager, Corporate & Specialised Banking and shortly after, was appointed acting Chief Customer Officer, Corporate & Institutional Banking, a position held until she was appointed to her current role.

An experienced senior finance executive, Cathryn has worked in Australia and internationally with major financial organisations including ANZ, Westpac and Macquarie Bank.

Cathryn holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance) from Curtin University, Western Australia. She is a member of Chief Executive Women, Chair of NAB’s Affordable Housing Committee, a member of NAB’s Ventures Investment Committee and Member of NAB Group Non -Financial Risk Committee.

Ms. Gray is Senior Managing Director, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at ECP. She chairs the Compliance Committee and co-chairs the ESG Committee. Ms. Gray previously served on the board for NESCO Holdings, Inc. (now known as Custom Truck One Source) and Ramaco Resources.

Prior to joining ECP in 2008, Ms. Gray was an Associate at the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP. Ms. Gray represented both lenders and borrowers in several joint venture, financing, acquisition and development transactions.

Ms. Gray received her B.S. in International Business and J.D. from Pepperdine University.

broad transaction experience across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to her role at Amber, Sonia

led the North America platform of global fund manager, InfraRed Capital Partners and was a lawyer in

the global projects, infrastructure and energy group of Allen & Overy, in London and New York.

Helen McNamee is currently the North America ESG / Sustainability Leader at QIC Infrastructure, where she drives sustainability strategy, integration, and outcomes within the global Infrastructure team across the investment lifecycle, from the evaluation of new investments to the active asset management of portfolio companies. Helen has extensive experience in sustainable infrastructure investing and asset management, renewable energy finance, private equity investing, and investment banking advisory within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Helen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with majors in Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Columbia University where she graduated with magna cum laude honors and a major in Economics-Political Science.

Elise O'Connell is a Director in the BlackRock Legal Transactions Group, serving as counsel to BlackRock's Diversified Infrastructure Equity Fund, Global Renewable Power Fund and Infrastructure Debt Fund. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2021, Elise was Senior Legal Counsel at AMP Capital from 2018-2021, covering all energy and infrastructure equity investments in the Americas. Elise was a senior associate in the Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure group at Allen & Overy from 2014-2018, an associate in both the Energy and Infrastructure Projects and Corporate Restructuring groups at Skadden, Arps from 2007-2013 and a litigation associate at Hughes, Hubbard & Reed from 2006-2007.

Elise graduated from Princeton University and holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School where she was the Executive Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
